Rätikon, Kaiserschnitt 7b+ A0

Since two weeks, I’ve got seriously shoulder problems. So I had to stop climbing for about ten days, which was HORRIBLE!

Well, after some good doctor-, ostoepath- and physiotherapy-sessions, my shoulder is getting better and better. But I still have to be carefully…
So time to do some good, flat multiplepitches in the Rätikon. Motivation alway high!

My friend Jack Frei and me, we choosed the route Kaiserschnitt. A nine pitche route in the ‘Schijenfluh’. After a fat breakfast at nine, we drove up to St. Antönien and then the most difficult part of the day began: the 1,5 hour walk…

The fist pitch I climbed with fingers like icicle. It was really really cold to climb, but one hour after it was getting better in the sun. I have to say that the alpine sportclimbing is absolutly fantastic! Not a lot of bolts, the air under your feets, the high adrenalin in your venes because you are a bit scared….wow!

Well, the rock quality was not the Top of the Top, so I made a lot of falls because some holds were breaking off. But for all, I loved it! 7 hours in a high wall, the hard alpine difficulty and above all the good climbing time with Jack and without shoulderpain!
